With heavy seasonal rainfall in Sudan, flash flooding and rivers overflowing has displaced thousands leaving refugees in the worst of circumstances losing what little they have to call home.
Homes and buildings have been destroyed leaving many without their possessions. Hygiene and sanitary levels have been most affected as drinking water have been contaminated; this paired with the current COVID-19 pandemic is leaving many in very vulnerable situations.
Eri Hope has managed to deliver aid to the refugees affected by the floods in Tokkar City, Sudan. We managed to deliver food packs of sugar, rice, powdered milk and other non-perishable essentials to the displaced families. Mosquito nets were also distributed to protect the now exposed families who have lost their sheltered homes.
Donate with Eri Hope to help us continue to provide aid to the refugees and help them rebuild their lives.
