To combat the spread of Covid-19 across the vulnerable refugee camps, Eri Hope set up many projects to encourage cleanliness to protect the Eritrean refugees across the many camps in East Sudan. One of the projects organised in Kilo 26 was to distribute soap bars and to set up sanitation stations across the camp, Eri Hope managed to do this with the generous donations from the Eritrean community living in Enfok, Canada. With their donations Eri Hope distributed soap bars to the individuals living in Kilo 26. We also broadcasted across the camp with speakers raising awareness of covid-19 and how to protect themselves. Sanitation facilities were also set up across the camp, encouraging frequent hand washing and cleanliness.
