Kaffarah is the compensation paid for deliberately missing or breaking a fast during Ramadan without valid reason. To make up for a missed or broken fast you must fast continuously for 60 days or pay a monetary compensation to feed the needy. Eri Hope has used the kaffarah of our donors to provide meals to the needy refugees across Sudan.
